About
The Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (Amrap) is a community radio initiative that works with musicians and community broadcasters to get great Australian music national airplay, faster.
Amrap offers services for signed and unsigned Australian artists, major and independent record labels and all community radio stations around Australia.
Between Mar 2009-Mar 2010 Amrap distributed over 19,000 CDs from 909 Australian artists to 280+ community radio stations nationwide. Since January 2010 over 700 music directors and broadcasters from 170 stations nationwide have ordered over 10,000 tracks for airplay from Amrap's online music catalogue - AirIt. Impressive numbers, but more importantly... a lot of impressive new Australian music getting to radio!
Amrap is funded by the Department of Broadband, Communication and Digital Economy through the Community Broadcasting Foundation and is managed by the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia.
